Today I was officially diagnosed with ADHD. So many things make more sense to me now.
Like many women diagnosed as adults, I have masked the symptoms of my hyperactive brain as best I could my entire life. But I couldn’t do it anymore.
My psychiatrist and I have been discussing this possible diagnosis for the last six months, but today it became official. And I started a new medication to see if it could help. Fingers crossed! For my fellow neuro-spicy friends, ADHD memes are welcomed!
Today’s #OneGoodThing is getting a diagnosis that feels affirming! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
