The weather has been stormy for days, foiling my plans and desire to swim. But today there was a short break in the rain with hints of sunshine. I took the opportunity to swim and walk in the pool. It felt good on my tight joints, but I’m so fatigued I can barely move. And as I’m writing this post, I can hear the rain has resumed its onslaught.
The sound of rain still reminds me of the rain inside our living room just a year ago. A noise that used to be calming is now tied to anxiety. This made seizing the moment between storms all the more precious.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is swimming in the break between storms! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
