Anyone who’s had the pleasure of meeting Benny knows he’s a loud snorer. He’s often asleep on top of me and his noises, even when awake (he also breathes loudly), have elicited some hilarious responses. But today was the best yet.

My primary care doctor once heard him through the phone and thought the noise was my stomach grumbling.

A nurse at the infusion center once came running thinking a patient was having a sleep apnea attack.

My sister’s husband with hearing loss heard what his snoring sounds like for the first time.

And today, an insurance customer agent thought the noise was me experiencing loud flatulence. His relief was palpable when I asked him to please excuse my dog’s snoring. I could not stop laughing!
