In the middle of the night (when I generally do my best baking), I attempted to recreate the hospital lemon bars I’ve been craving. I used a SmittenKitchen recipe but went wild with the lemon zest and juice quantities.
My lemon bars stuck in the pan and therefore did not cut nicely. I’ll do a thicker coat of butter next time. My bars are also a bit overbaked. But they are delicious and they do satisfy my craving.
I sent a box of them over the fence in appreciation of the lemons to make said lemon bars. And I prepped a box for Mama and her friends.
Today’s #OneGoodThing is stuck-in-the-pan, but tasty lemon bars! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
