Today is the yarzheit of my beloved friend Jenessa. I can’t believe it’s been a whole year without her.

Nessa was one of my very first best friends in life and a very special soul. She was taken too soon. I miss her dearly.

I lit this yarzheit candle in memory of Jenessa tonight and said the Mourners’ Kaddish. The candle will burn for 24 hours. I put this photo of us together as kids next to it. Her memory is a blessing to all who knew her.
