By far, my favorite part of the Thanksgiving feast is the pumpkin pie. I like it well-spiced, cold, and covered with whipped cream.

It’s one of my favourite pies, but I seldom make it here, as no one else appreciates it! I’ve even taken to just making pumpkin custard, but it’s not the same without a flaky pastry.
