Tonight was filled with laughter, games, and great food with the wonderful family who live next door!
The 7- and 9-year-old girls spotted our stash of board games and puzzles during a visit a while back, and Mama and I promised them an official Game Night.
First we played Quirkle Cubes, which is a bit like Scrabble or Bananagram, except with colors and shapes instead of words (and cubes instead of tiles). Then we feasted on roasted leg of lamb and sweet potato salad. Paisley also discovered that she LOVES lamb! Once we were all stuffed, we gathered around Mama’s Monopoly board with wooden pieces from her childhood. We finished off the night with Haagen-Dazs Peach Sorbet and hugs!
Today’s #OneGoodThing was a delicious and fun night with friends! We’re so thankful for these special neighbors and their culinary talents!
