Doing it all a day early

Mama and I roasted our turkey breast this afternoon—and then proceeded to enjoy our Thanksgiving feast a day early! Since we knew I was having my Port procedure yesterday, we got the side dishes pre-made at our favorite local market.

This yummy sweet potato pie appeared on our doorstep this morning, a surprise from our wonderful neighbors. The only things we had to make to accomplish our desired holiday flavors were the turkey and cranberry sauce! Mama and I enjoyed preparing them and listening to music together, while Paisley just prayed we’d drop more food.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was enjoying our holiday meal a day early! Huge thanks to Vashti for taking the bird out of the oven for us—twice! I’m not supposed to lift anything heavy yet. We’re deeply grateful for our sweet neighbors! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.

Day 331 of 365. And Day 1,427 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things)!
