This morning Mama and I went to the hair salon for touch-ups — Mama had a bang trim and it was a clean-up for me. As always, it was an absolute joy to see our awesome stylist, Matthew. He is magic!
Next, we went to Oliver’s, our local organic grocery store, and bought our Thanksgiving Day feast from their prepared food case, including roast turkey from the hot bar. Usually I grocery shop alone, but it was fun to walk around the store with Mama and introduce her to the friendly faces who’ve suggested the incredible produce, cheese and more that I bring home for her. Mama was happy to meet the people she’s heard about, and vice versa.
This evening our sweet neighbors came over to visit. We loved getting to spend time together, and we’re eager to try the sweet potato pie they brought us!
Today’s #OneGoodThing was getting holiday ready with Mama! As if that weren’t great enough, we finally got some rain today and were able to take our first deep breaths in two weeks! It felt fantastic to be outside without a face mask! I have never been so happy for rain.
