“My Girls at the Beach” by Gabriana Marks, 2019
It’s the third day of our September Art Challenge and today’s inspiration/prompt was animal. So, of course, Mama and I both had to draw our beloved rescue dog, Paisley.
I first tried a close-up of her, but her wrinkles and fur proved too much. Instead, I went with a scene from a distance—a pencil drawing that I painted with watercolors and added details with colored pencils.

Paisley watches over the MRI entrance, Jude Marks, 2019
Mama created an ink and colored pencil drawing of Paisley watching over the MRI entrance as her guardian angel.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was drawing our sweet Paisley! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.
Day 246 of 365. And Day 1,342 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things)!
