The inspiration for today’s Nosy Parker Art Challenge was glass. Many of this month’s creative prompts are a nod to our adventures in Venice, Italy. We’ve enjoyed searching through old trip photos and mementos to get ideas for our drawings.
After running through her many glass inspiration options, Mama decided to do a watercolor of her bright new glasses. They’re super fun and look fabulous on Mama, but she won’t be able to get her prescription put into them until November. She’s literally counting the days. In the meantime, I love her artwork!
I painted (with watercolors) this pink glass tulip that I brought back from Murano, the Venetian island famous for glass. It sits under a glass bubble in a silver spoon vase in my room.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was sharing our paintings of glass! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.
