Painting favorite songs – Nosy Parker Art Challenge 2019

“Wild, Wild Woman” by Charlie Musselwhite is one of Mama’s favorite songs and she captured that wild spirit in her watercolor painting. Today’s Nosy Parker Art Challenge inspiration/prompt was song. I painted a stylized representation of “You Are My Sunshine,” one of the songs Mama used to sing to me every night.

  1. My good thing was finding emerald beaut plums! I’ve been reading about them as your good thing for years and they sounded delicious but I could never find any here. Now I did. And they are just as delicious as you describe them and then some 🙂
