Early signs of spring in our garden

We enjoyed a surprisingly sunny, warm day for late winter and our garden seems to think it means spring has begun. Mama and I ventured outside to take it all in and soak up a bit of sunshine.

Paisley joined us and enjoyed a little rest against the sun-warmed steps. Mama and I were thrilled to discover our plum tree filled with glorious white blossoms. We also found our first yellow Jerusalem sage flower and two colorful petunias, including one that looks as if it has hearts painted on the petals. These colorful signs of life in our garden were quite cheering.
