Today was my third immune-suppressing IV infusion during the Shelter-in-Place order and my 29th since I began this treatment.
Our dear friend Dena has been driving me to/from these appointments lately and I so look forward to our little visits and seeing her smiling face (behind a mask, of course).
When she picked me up from the hospital, I was thrilled to discover that Dena had a large bag of bananas on the seat for me and a flat of beautiful flowers for our garden. Both were exactly what we’ve been needing and we were so thankful!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was a friendly face we love with bananas and flowers—plus leftover Puerto Rican food! Many thanks to our extraordinary friend Dena! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
Day 148 of 366. And Day 1,609 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things, & the 4th year of good things)!
On this day…
- 1 year ago: Warm enough to garden
- 2 years ago: Vertical progress
- 3 years ago: Hibiscus returned
- 4 years ago: Shabbat dinner and a proper catch up

Have you tried the port pillows on the seat belt? Hope you are getting rest today.
