Mama fell in love with Crepe Myrtle trees when we moved to Santa Rosa and spotted these colorful beauties all over town. We planted two in our front yard and eagerly await the brilliant blooms all year.
We’ve always hoped they’d explode in flowers before our annual summer party, but it has never happened before—not even with the help of fertilizer. But this year—when we’ve canceled the in-person party because of the deadly pandemic—the tree starts blooming earlier than ever before. How about that for irony?
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was discovering the first gorgeous flowers on our Crepe Myrtle trees! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
