Sunflowers for the neighborhood

These gorgeous sunflowers volunteered themselves in our backyard. They actually started growing in a barrel designated for tomatoes, but these beauties took precedence.

The stalks are at least 10-feet tall and the flowers face away from our home/garden. We’re a bit blue that we don’t get to enjoy them from the front, but we are happy to contribute to brightening our neighborhood!
