After reading an NPR article about how the house dress is here to save 2020, I decided to level up my home fashion.
A few flowy “house dresses” had been nestled deep in my closet, but I’d mostly been choosing to wear comfy cotton shorts and old tees/tanks. Sure, I was comfortable, but I didn’t feel good about what I was wearing.
The house dress allowed me to feel put together while not losing any comfort. Throughout the day, seeing my colorful frock reminded me to take time for myself and not just hustle through what needed to be done.
Mama also put on a lovely house dress in olive green and she looks wonderful!
