The newest addition to our family is big into snuggles. Benny often seems to know exactly what part of me would most benefit from his warm little body. He curls up against me like a hot water bottle that snores!

Animals are so extraordinary!

They do sense when you are in pain, when I was recuperating from my surgery our Birman cat;Chico would sleep next to me on the bed whilst I recuperated, with one paw touching my leg!
Later, once I started to rediscover the joys of solid food and it’s all too rapid reappearance 20 minutes after eating, he’d sit outside the bathroom door guarding me in my exposed state(!).
We knew when I’d recovered as he returned to his usual position of lofty disdain on the window ledge 😺
