In the long parade of appliances going on strike in our home this year, our hot water heater stopped working. When I couldn’t relight the pilot myself and we couldn’t take one more cold shower, I turned to our neighbor and good friend Andy for a plumber referral.
It felt odd to have a stranger inside our home after more than six months in isolation, but at least the house was clean. We were so thankful that Jim was able to squeeze us into his schedule and replace our old appliance today. The return of hot water is no small thing and we are mighty grateful.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was our hot water hero, Jim Curoso of Curoso Plumbing in Santa Rosa! Thanks, Jim! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

I was bummed that it came to that. But of course it did, because 2020. At least we got it and have hot water again! I’m so grateful!!!
