Our dear family friend Ellen came from Oakland to visit us today. We’ve known her for decades, ever since her son and I were little kids at Hebrew School together.

Mama and I were excited to adventure with Ellen in our new (used) chariot. What a joy to easily fit all of us and Mama’s walker without any issue! We went out to lunch for fish tacos at Handline in Sebastopol, where they have gorgeous outdoor seating. The food and atmosphere were fantastic, and the company was even better!
