We awoke this morning to news of no more flooding in Venice. Flood barriers have finally held the waters back from inundating the beautiful city we love. This was a historic day indeed!
Plagued by delays and corruption, the multi-billion euro project called Mose was finally ready to be tested and it worked! We loved seeing elated posts and videos from Venetian friends celebrating this significant day.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was the historic end to flooding in Venice! Special credit for today’s featured photos/screengrabs to Venezia Autentica, Views on Venice, and La Mela Verde! Thanks for sharing your joy!!! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

Exactly! We watched a video from Venezia Autentica multiple times over because his elation at not having to move everything in his first floor home was so powerful. What a special day for everyone in Venice and those of us who have left our hearts there!
