Our dishwasher stopped functioning recently and dirty dishes inevitably started filling the sink and the counter. Mama and I powered through all of them in batches this afternoon while listening to music. I still didn’t enjoy the task, but it feels wonderful to have everything clean once more!

Can you find a way to wash dishes while sitting down? If you have a lot to do, sitting down would make it easier. No surprise that the dishwasher was invented by a woman (apart from two earlier ones invented by men).

I can’t sit while I wash unfortunately, but I did take breaks. And I was able to set Mama up to dry dishes while sitting!
