When I told Mama I was going to make a cake tonight, she asked why. Though I’m sure she meant was there a holiday or someone I was baking for, I told her the cake’s only purpose was for eating!
I proceeded to make a favorite of ours that we first enjoyed in Venice. It’s a bittersweet chocolate and pear cake (recipe from smitten kitchen). I added a few ginger chips just to add a little bite to it. But it was delicious! And ever so reminiscent of our special trip.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was cake for eating! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
