Early on in my caregiving role, I realized that Mama and I are better when we have something to look forward to. We enjoy anticipating adventure—from seeing Trevor Noah live to going to a cheese tasting/tour or seeing a performance of The Lion King in the city.
Mama and I recently started brainstorming what fun future plans for when we feel safe to re-enter the world again. At the top of our shortlist is seeing the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in San Francisco later this year. After calling to ask a few questions about accessibility and Covid safety, we got our tickets. Mama and I will be going to this incredible exhibit in June to celebrate her 10-year brain cancer survival!
