A beloved neighbor called us early this morning and alerted us to some serious storm damage. Strong winds picked up our carport and lifted it over the fence and into our backyard oasis.
The carport is not salvageable and we won’t know the full extent of the rest of the damage until the storm passes. Our van was stuck with carport poles into the side, but our wonderful neighbor came out into the downpour to help me free it.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was help in a storm! Many thanks to our incredibly kind neighbor Vashti!!! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

Yes, thank goodness for good neighbors! Sadly the broken carport is still upside down and wreaking havoc on our backyard living space. Hopefully, I can get help removing it soon before it causes more damage!
