I ate radioactive eggs for breakfast today. Intentionally.
It was part of a medical test that took nearly 5 hours and determined that I have gastroparesis, a digestive disorder that slows or stops the emptying of food from the stomach.
Gastroparesis is why I feel like I have the stomach flu 365 days a year. It’s also why I struggle to eat anything and always feel nauseated. Though it sucks to rack up another chronic illness diagnosis, I appreciate having an answer to why I feel so awful all the time. There is no cure, only treatments to help mitigate symptoms. But still, a diagnosis is progress.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was radioactive eggs! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
Day 347 of 365. And Now Totaling 2,174 Days In A Row. Here’s the first 366 and the following 365, as well as year three, year four, and year five of #OneGoodThing Daily!

Ouch, I feel for you, since my Gastric Bypass I have the opposite problem, food goes through too quickly for all the nutrients to be absorbed, hence a lifetime of supplements.

Oh that’s rough, Rob! Are you able to absorb the vitamins, I hope? I’m still struggling with absorbing nutrients. It’s a process I guess.
