For National Caregivers Day today, I attended CareCon, a virtual convention with interesting panels, workshops, booths, and lounges.

Being reminded how many other caregivers are out there was eye-opening. I especially enjoyed hanging out in the Millennial Caregivers Lounge and attending the Comedy for Caregivers panel, moderated by Seth Rogen. Howie Mandel, J. Smiles, Jessimae, Chris Garcia, and Nicole Byer were also on the panel and shared their caregiver stories and some of the darkest, funniest humor ever. I’ve always tried to laugh through the painful moments and I appreciated seeing how others found humor in horrible times too. I learned helpful tips and met wonderful people. It was great!
