At least people were nice

We’ve been looking forward to today’s adventure since we got our tickets in March. Mama and I haven’t been to the Mountain Play since the ’90s, but we have very fond memories. This year’s performance was Into The Woods. It isn’t one of our favorite shows, but we were eager to experience outdoor theater again. I even made a charcuterie bento box picnic!

Sadly, today’s long-anticipated fun was cut short because we were painfully cold. Even with blankets, we struggled to stay warm. We were not prepared enough for the frigid, misty weather. The day didn’t really go well. At all.

But we’re still glad we tried. And we’re grateful to our magnificent respite caregiver who came along to help, as well as to the staff and volunteers at Mountain Play. They were exceptionally kind, going above and beyond—a true highlight of the day.

Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is that even though we had to leave early and it was a rough day, people were very kind to us! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

Day 162 of 365. And Now Totaling 2,719 Days In A Row. Here’s the first 366 and the following 365, as well as year threeyear fouryear fiveyear six, and year seven of #OneGoodThing Daily!

On this day…
