My nephew’s bris

Today I was honored to virtually attend my nephew‘s bris in Southern California. The ceremony was very meaningful, especially given recent atrocities in Israel and Gaza.

Tears were shed as the eight-day-old baby’s Hebrew name was revealed and explained. Eliezer Max is named after his mother’s beloved, late grandfather and his father’s great-grandfather who was murdered in the Holocaust.

The love and community were palpable today as we prayed together from New York, Israel, Texas, and California. What a mitzvah to share in this moment and celebrate the continuation of the Jewish people.

Today’s #OneGoodThing is virtually attending my nephew’s bris! Mazel tov, Eliezer! You are so loved! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
