My Monday started off at Urgent Care for what I thought was a serious spider bite reaction on my neck.
Turns out a bite would have been preferable. The doctor thinks it is shingles. She swabbed it and said I’m lucky to start treatment quickly. But nothing is helping the off-the-chart pain in my neck and head. Mostly I just have to knock myself out with Benadryl.
Thankfully, Mama received her shingles vaccine a few months ago. So far, she is not showing any signs.
Despite a legitimately horrible day, today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is feeling thankful for Benadryl! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

Can’t like this post. What a rotten thing to happen. I hope the treatment will ease the duration of the shingles. Yvonne
