Today I had the great joy and honor of witnessing two of my nephew’s firsts.

My sister and her husband have been using baby sign language with Eli. And today he signed back for the first time, asking for more milk.

Moments later, Eli held my hand and Alyssa’s hand and took his first steps with support! What a morning!
