Recovery from surgery is bumpy as I’ve been violently ill all day. But something wonderful did happen despite my misery—my extraordinary friend Sarica arranged to have lunch delivered to us. Though I wasn’t able to eat today, this was a godsend because it meant fresh meals for Mama!
