Making plum jam is now an annual tradition in our home, thanks to the bountiful Santa Rosa Plum tree in our backyard.
I experimented with a new technique to prepare the fruit yesterday, and today I turned my plum mush into the best jam I’ve ever made! We ended up with six small jars and one larger one and I’m sure we’ll eat them up in no time. For those looking to repeat this culinary masterpiece for themselves, I loosely followed this recipe.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was our best batch of homemade plum jam EVER! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

Do you make marmalade too?

I’ve never made marmalade–probably because I’m not a huge fan of it. I’m not sure I’d be a regular jam maker without a fruit tree in our backyard. I just can’t let it go to waste and so I jam!
