Today was my 30th IV infusion to suppress my immune system. I was actually eager because my intestinal pain hasn’t quit since last week’s big Crohn’s flare-up.
Our kind and wonderful friend Dena drove me to and from the hospital again. And I was so thrilled to be able to share with her a giant bag of Santa Rosa Plums from our tree!
We’re in the one week a year when our tree drowns us in plums, so I got to bring a giant bag to share with the nurses at the hospital too. And we gave a bag to our neighbors-turned-family as well. With still more plums to enjoy, there will be more interesting culinary creations in the near future.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was sharing our wealth of plums and my 30th immunosuppressive infusion done! Huge thanks to the extraordinary Dena Clover-Vargas!!! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
