For the first time in nearly six months, we are about to have a safely distanced and masked visit with close friends at our home. I spent today cleaning in anticipation!
My best friend and her husband are heading to the Sierras and will break up a long drive at our home, staying in our camper van nestled in a carport.
Mama originally got the van, which we call “Girl Scout,” when she was going to Burning Man. We then used it as artist vendors selling at fairs across the state. When Mama was hospitalized several years ago, I used the van to sleep in the hospital parking lot. And when we evacuated to Sacramento last fall, we took “Girl Scout” for the journey. She’s a real trooper.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was anticipatory cleaning! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
