A few days after my immune-suppressing infusion, I don’t normally leave the house—especially not since the pandemic began. But I made an exception and dragged myself from bed today because our favorite fruit ever is finally back in season! Yay for September!
Longtime readers will be familiar with our Emerald Beaut pluot obsession (we even planted a tree, but sadly she didn’t give fruit this year). Well, today was the day! Emerald Beauts were back at the farmers’ market, sold by our dear farmer friend, Rosendo of Ponce Farm!
Enjoying the first juicy, sweet, crunchy bites of fruit with Mama and I knew it had been worth my early morning efforts to brave the world (while wearing a mask and face shield).
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was the best way to start out a September Saturday! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
