We bought our Thanksgiving turkey breast back in May from a nearby farm before it closed permanently, along with a case of their delicious turkey bacon!
I dug the little rolled breast out of the freezer on Sunday and we’ve now finished brining it using a kit from Costco. It’s looking good and now we’re all ready to roast it for the holiday!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is brining our turkey breast! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

Tell me about this brining process, and why you do it. Would it help me to like turkey?

Yes, brining might help you to like turkey! I did a wet brine so it was a process of dissolving salt and herbs in water and then soaking the breast in it for some hours. It is supposed to help the meat be tastier and juicier. We’ll see how it goes!

I expect feedback.
A blessed Thanksgiving to all 4 of you.
If I still don’t like the turkey, may I please have a big piece of pumkin pie with real whipped cream?
