Mama and I donned treasured aprons and cooked our brined turkey breast together today.
It turned out juicy and delicious! And it went wonderfully with the Grand Marnier cranberry sauce I made several days ago as well as the store-bought mashed potatoes and dressing/stuffing. We went for a simpler plate with just our favorites this year. And of course, we had to have homemade pumpkin pie for dessert!
Mama and I also enjoyed a short walk in the neighborhood with the dogs just before it got dark. It felt good to breathe in the cool air and return home to the smells of Thanksgiving!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is cooking and walking together! On this Thanksgiving, we are grateful for all of you who read this blog and share in our journey. We hope you have a day full of gratitude and love. What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
