I did not feel like going out today. But the allure of ripe green pluots from our favorite farmers got me out of bed.
After stocking up on Flavor Queen Pluots from our longtime friends at Ponce Farms, I picked up some of these stunning roses from Neve Farms.
The market was ending, but I had a quick stroll through and ran into metal crochet artists we met at the Patchwork Craft Show last month. They were so kind and asked about Mama, even sending me on my way with a beautiful aqua crochet metal bracelet to go with Mama’s necklace. Next to these artists, I found wonderful locally-made, quality dog treats. Paisley and Benny both love the peanut butter apple flavor. On my way out, I even found a stand that still had a few pastries left.
So I brought an assortment of pastries, fruit, and flowers, plus a bracelet, to Mama at her new apartment! She was deeply touched by everyone’s messages and gifts. And she loved seeing photos of the Ponce family!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is going to a farmers’ market that feels like a family reunion! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
