Our favorite fruit—the Emerald Beaut pluot—is finally in season! I went to the farmers’ market today hoping it was time. What a joy to see our favorite farmers again!

I brought a great big bag of them to Mama’s apartment and she was thrilled. Before I could even snap a photo of our pluots in our hands, she’d already finished hers!
