Sunny day for craft lovers

One of our favorite local makers’ shows came to downtown Santa Rosa today and we have been looking forward to this for months!

Mama and I especially enjoy meeting the artists and talking to them about their inspirations. We got to see artist friends we’d met at previous shows. And we discovered new artists whose work we adored from stunning dotted ceramics to hilariously, artfully stamped metal jewelry and more!

We also love participating in the DIY craft activities. Mama tried out a plant-based gel nail polish. And I sewed a super cute dog bandana from scrap fabric. We were also given coloring pages and the supplies to make adorable tiny moss wreaths at home!

Clockwise: Dog Bow Ties by The Woof Gang, Adorable Ceramics by B Van Soi, DIY Mini Moss Wreath with Moss & Mush, DIY Dog Bandana with Sea Woof, Felt keychains by Felt Flanerie, and Argentinian Alfajores by Amapolabites

The weather was gorgeous, sunny but not too hot. We feasted on a picnic of turkey cranberry sandwiches that I brought in a mini cooler bag. We had a lovely day, but we overexerted ourselves and will need much rest and recovery time.

Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is a sunny day for meeting other artists and craft lovers! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
