Like many others sheltering-in-place at home, we’re eating up all of our fresh produce and starting to run low. Our solution was to grow more!
We had three green onions left and they were looking like they’d seen better days. I trimmed them and stuck them in a glass of water in the windowsill a few days ago. In no time, they’ve given us more green onions than we need!
We added the celery root next to the onions yesterday. We’ve successfully grown celery from the scraps before so hopefully, it will work out again!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was growing produce from scraps! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.
Day 81 of 366. And Day 1,542 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things, & the 4th year of good things)!
On this day…
- 1 year ago: Teaming up to wash the dog
- 2 years ago: Happy from toes to tummy
- 3 years ago today: Cool, new low-tech gadget
- 4 years ago today: My new mantra
