I baked a two-layer chocolate cake from scratch for my birthday last month. I swapped out the middle layer of frosting for seedless raspberry jam, but otherwise, I followed the recipe for “That Chocolate Cake” in the Scharffen Berger Chocolate cookbook. The cake was delicious but rich so we decided to freeze the last several pieces.
Tonight Mama and I defrosted the last two slices and enjoyed them with large mugs of (decaf) coffee! It was absolutely scrumptious and today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
Day 133 of 366. And Day 1,594 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things, & the 4th year of good things)!
On this day…
