Clockwise from top L: Beaded earrings, hummingbird feeders, macrame necklace, painting with eyelashes, cork and fabric bag.
One of our favorite events of the year is happening this weekend in downtown Santa Rosa. It’s a fantastic craft fair filled with talented artists and lots of free DIY activities! Mama and I love going to this fair and meeting the inspiring local makers. So even though we’re having car engine trouble and my back is still hurting, we knew we had to go anyway.
Today didn’t disappoint! Mama and I met so many wonderful, kind, creative people. There were crafts of all kinds from glass, beads, and ceramics, to pet toys, clothes, jewelry, bags, and so much more! Mama and I even got to do our own screen printing, which was a lot of fun and instant gratification. It was a joy to see artists we know and love. And it was cool to see some interesting new booths too!
The first photo collage has some of our favorite items we saw from the day. The second photo collage features many of the artists with their work (clockwise from top left): hand-sculpted hummingbird feeders by CatSkillsDesign, beaded jewelry from MorninGloria’s, pearl and wire jewelry from Girl with the Pearl, screenprinting activity with Fleetwood, wood flowers by Revel Party Design, glass bud vases by Gila Glass, fun stickers from My Secret Copy, painting by Kelly Marshall Art, and quilting with Needle Bright Quilts.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is nourishing our creative souls! We only wish we were in a position to shop more and support all these amazing artists! If you’re local to Santa Rosa, you can still attend the show’s second day tomorrow, when they’ll have a tie-dye activity too!!! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

I’m glad you were able to get there.
What in the world is painting with eyelashes?

Because of our car troubles, we had to take a ride share to get there. But we’d been looking forward to this day for months and couldn’t miss it!
The painting of the pig HAS eyelashes! Sorry for the confusion 😉
