Connecting with other crafters

Of all the craft shows we’ve ever attended or vendorded, the Patchwork Shows are our favorite because of the many DIY craft activities and the welcoming atmosphere. We love how everyone there also loves making crafts!

We’ve been eager attendees since Patchwork first came to Santa Rosa pre-pandemic. And it was one of our first encounters with a crowd post-vaccination. Mama and I look forward to talking with makers and nourishing our creativity at every show! All the better when the weather is lovely!

Today was one of those magical-feeling days where you connect with beautiful, creative souls. We got to see artists we’ve become friends with through the years and make wonderful new friends as well. Given how poorly our last outing day went, and how stressful this month has been, we needed this.

We participated in a couple of the DIY crafting stations. Mama is gaga for her purple leather bracelet with silver beads and a metallic clasp that we made. And I also created my own custom herbal bath salts. We tired out before we could do the paper rolling station, but we got a kit to take home.

Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is connecting with other crafters at another wonderful Patchwork Show Makers Market & Community Festival! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

Day 176 of 365. And Now Totaling 2,733 Days In A Row. Here’s the first 366 and the following 365, as well as year threeyear fouryear fiveyear six, and year seven of #OneGoodThing Daily!
